Frederick A. Lewnau, 95, Waterford, died peacefully at home on Oct. 7, 2013. He was born in Waterford to the late Arthur H. and Linda Mary (Poggenburg) Lewnau. He spent his entire life in Waterford. He attended St. John’s graded school in Burlington and was a Waterford High School graduate.
During his working days he worked part time at Aber cutters in Waterford and also worked at Duetsch Pattern in Milwaukee. He enjoyed vegetable farming his whole life.
Survivors include his dear friends, Scott, Sarita, Savana and Sophie Schrader, Michael Masiakowski, Harold (Gloria) Vogelman, and many other friends who would come to visit.
Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 10, from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., at Mealy Funeral Home, 225 W. Main St., Waterford, with the Rev. Daniel Waldschmidt of St. John’s Lutheran officiating. Burial is in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Waterford, following services.
