FRANK W. WRIGHT

Frank W. Wright, 85, Burlington, died Dec. 28, 2013, at Centegra  Hospital in McHenry, Ill. He was born Aug. 6, 1928, to the late James and Lucille (Howard) Wright in Chicago. His early life was spent in Chicago. He moved to Greenville, Alabama, and then returned to Chicago in his teens where he graduated from high school.

He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

On July 18, 1951, he married the late Faith Harmes in Oak Park, Ill. They resided in Chicago and Humbird, until moving to Burlington in 2005. He worked as a tuck pointer for Olsen Tuck Point of Chicago. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. He was a pilot and loved to fly single engine planes.

Survivors include his children, Greg (Susan) Mack, Cutler Bay, Fla., Loreen (Rick) Nutting, Casa Grande, Ariz., Rosalie (Larry) Flood, Humbird, Janell (Michael) Waspi, McHenry, Ill., Joette (Skip) Mather, Burlington, Roxanne (Henry) Brasch, Carpentersville, Ill., and Tammy (Brian) Gordon, Lake Geneva; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Hope Ciancio, Elkhorn; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.

He was further preceded in death by his brothers, James, Robert and Joseph; and his twin sister, Frances.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Randall Schmidt and the doctors and nurses at Lakeland Rehab for their care and compassion.

A memorial service is Friday. Jan. 3, 2014, at 7 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with the Rev. Rob Bolling officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Jan. 3, from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Inurnment is Saturday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m., at Oakwood Cemetery, Waterford.
