CARL F. IGNATOWSKI

Carl F. Ignatowski,  77, North Cape, died Nov. 2, 2013, at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee. He was born Sept. 4, 1936, to the late Stanley and Tillie Ignatowski in Milwaukee. After graduating from Franklin High School he spent four years in the U.S. Army.

On Sept. 28, 1963, he married the love of his life, Nancy Meusy. In 1969, they moved to North Cape where they raised their children.

He was a longtime employee of Ladish, where he retired as executive chief tool engineer. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford. He was an avid deer hunter, loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, the Green Bay Packers and road trips, but most of all loved and cherished his wife, children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife; children, Kevin Ignatowski, Lorie (Leonard Jr.) Ostrowski, Dawn Ignatowski; grandchildren, Ashley, Lenny III, Liana, Lukas, Grant; great-grandchild, Austin; his sister, Felicia Loppnow; sisters-in-law, Mary Ignatowski and Rosalie Hoeft; brother-in-law, Russell (Lynn) Meusy; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was further preceded in death by his siblings, Bernadine, Ray, Emily, Ed and Jerry.

Visitation is Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9-10:15 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 S. First St., Waterford. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m., at the church. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, is serving the family.
