ROBERT J. ZIVKOVICH


Robert J. “Bob” Zivkovich, 65, Neenah, died suddenly on Aug. 3, 2012, with family present at Theda Clark Medical Center.

He was born March 23, 1947, in Elkhorn to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Mitchell) Zivkovich.

He married Dorothy J. Wisniewski Dec. 27, 1969. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah, where he also served and volunteered with his wife at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. He was talented in fixing most anything, hence his nickname of “Mr. Fix It.” He loved electronics and was always searching for an answer or solution as to how something could be fixed. He enjoyed all sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, college football and the Milwaukee Brewers.  He never missed an opportunity to watch his grandchildren play sports or perform in concerts and plays.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served as an M.P. He loved his family, and was a wonderful husband, father, beloved grandfather, and friend to many.

Survivors include his loving wife; children, Lori (Brian) Borchardt, Neenah, Craig Zivkovich, New Berlin; grandchildren,  Madeline, Sydney and Carter Borchardt; mother-in-law and step-father, Louise (Elmer) DeGroot, Clearwater, Fla.; brothers and sisters,  Gerald Zivkovich, Honey Creek, Deborah Glessner, Burlington, William (Ann) Zivkovich, Litchfield, Minn., Sally Drew, Eldorado; a sister-in-law, Sue Wisniewski, Scottsdale, Ariz.; aunts; uncles; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was further preceded in death by his father-in-law, Joe Wisniewski and other family.

Memorial services were Aug. 6, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. The Rev. Michael L. Ingold officiated. Full military honors were performed by the Twin Cities Veteran’s Funeral Honor Team following the Mass. A memorial has been established for St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Robert’s name. Kessler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Neenah, assisted the family.

Dad, You are an amazing husband, father, grandpa and friend. We know you will watch over us and guide us from Heaven. We will see you in “two days.” You are in our hearts forever. Your loving family.
