In lieu of flowers, donations to Aurora St. Luke’s Healing Garden are appreciated. Jean was a strong advocate of organ donation and was also a  recipient having had a heart transplant herself. Her message was always,  “don’t take your organs to heaven, heaven knows, we need them here”. The family of Jean would like to thank the large group of friends and family  that assisted with transportation and meals. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Aurora Hospice nurses and staff for the comfort that they gave the family as well as the staff at Burlington Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
