Douglas Goldsworthy Smith, 29, of Bossier City, La., died May 11, 2010. He was born in Racine on March 8, 1981, to Larry and Susan (Weatherhead) Smith. He attended Raymond Elementary School and graduated from Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Ariz. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a special affection for Mickey Mouse.
A memorial service is Friday, Oct. 5, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1610 Main St., Union Grove, at 9 a.m. A burial service will follow in the Chapel at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 10 a.m.
Memorial donations in Doug’s memory to the PMD Foundation (Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease) 1307 White Horse Road, Suite 603 Voorhees, NJ 08043 are suggested by the family.
