WSD prepares for changed look to its bills

Quarterly invoices sporting a new look (but billing the same quarterly fee as in the past) will be used by the Town of Waterford Sanitary District for its upcoming April 1 quarterly billing.

An explanatory letter and sample invoice announcing the upcoming change are being mailed this week to all residents whose property is served by the Town of Waterford Sanitary District.

The new April 1 quarterly invoices will be printed on plain pieces of paper mailed in regular-sized envelopes with a return envelope included – a change from the postcard billings previously used.

All WSD residents – even those who previously elected to receive their invoices via email – will receive the explanatory letter and sample paper bill this month. The letter contains steps needed to re-register online for paperless billing.

The invoice change reflects a change in the billing system used by WSD. The new provider is identified by the name “IPN;” the former provider as “PSN.”
