Meeting set for Ten Club Park area redevelopment

The Village of Waterford is working with the firm GRAEF to develop a preliminary design and cost estimate for redevelopment of the area that consists of the land and buildings in the vicinity of the village Safety Building, the North Second Street Parking lot, the parking lots serving the Safety Building, the Main Street bridge and Ten Club Park.

Residents, business and property owners, community groups and event/program organizers in the Village of Waterford are invited to participate in the Riverfront/Ten Club Park Redevelopment project.

The project will kick off with a community stakeholder meeting at 5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 3, at the Village Hall.

Anyone interested in the future development of this area is invited to attend.

Participants are asked to bring ideas, photos and examples of particular elements they’d like to see incorporated into the design of the redevelopment area.

In addition, property and business owners or event and program organizers within the redevelopment area are invited to participate in a one-on-one meeting with the project consultant the afternoon of Feb. 3.

To schedule an appointment during this 30-minute time slot, contact Tina Chitwood at [email protected] or (262) 898-7422.

Participants will be asked to share their specific concerns regarding the future design and use ideas for the project area.

The outcome of this community project is dependent on the voice of the individuals and groups that use these public spaces to succeed.
