Western Racine County Health Department Health will offer low-cost animal vaccinations for all west-end residents at the former Rochester Municipal Building, 203 West Main St., 10 a.m. until noon, on Sundays, Feb. 9 and March 9.

Dogs can receive bordetella, distemper and rabies; cats can receive their rabies and distemper vaccinations. Cost of the vaccines is $15 each.

Microchipping will also be available for $25. No appointments are needed; only cash will be accepted.

All residents – including those living in municipalities like the Town of Waterford and Village of Union Grove, which do not contract with Western Racine County Health Department for public health services, are welcome to attend.

Staff from the health department will be on hand, as will a veterinarian, veterinary technicians and support staff from the Wisconsin Humane Society, Racine Campus.

In addition, residents of the towns of Dover, Norway, Raymond and Yorkville, Village of Rochester and City of Burlington can purchase animal licenses at that time.

Owners are asked to bring proof of neutering or spaying.
