Donor registration drive set for Saturday

A bone marrow donor registration drive is being held from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Waterford Village Hall, 123 N. River St.
The drive is part of an Eagle Scout Service Project for Patrick W. Goldammer, 12, Waterford. Goldammer decided to hold the drive after his aunt needed a stem cell transplant and a donor was found for her on the Bone Marrow Donor Registry.
It’s free to register and only takes a few minutes to fill out a  short form and have a cheek swabbed. Donors must be between 18 and 55 years old and in good general health.
For more information, call (262) 514-3745.
