With a Jan. 11 certification deadline expected to clear the way for three candidates seeking one position on the state Supreme Court, a Feb. 19 primary is likely for all municipalities across the State of Wisconsin.

Locally, one Feb. 19 primary election is also scheduled.

A primary for the Waterford Union High School Board will narrow a slate of five candidates to four who will advance to the April 2 spring general election.

The Waterford high school board race is the only local contest needing a primary election ahead of the April 2 vote.

Waterford Union High School

Five candidates are seeking election to two three-year seats on the high school board.

Incumbents James Graff and Nancy Klemko are challenged by newcomer Sandra Schwartz, as well as Dan Jensen and Deanna Stever, both of whom sought election to the WUHS board in 2012.

All five candidates will vie in a Tuesday, Feb. 19, primary election. The top four vote-getters will advance to the April 2 spring election.
