Norway welcomes new municipal clerk

The New Year brought a new town clerk to the Town of Norway.

Senta Hall was sworn in as the new town clerk on Monday, Jan. 7, by Jean Jacobson, chairperson of the Town of Norway. She succeeds Camille Cohen, the former Norway town clerk, who served for 21 years until her retirement at the end of 2012.

“We are very pleased to have Senta join the team at the Town Hall,” said Jacobson. “Her experience in town government and background is very helpful, and we know she is going to enjoy working with the residents of the Town of Norway.”

Hall resides in the Town of Sugar Creek, outside Elkhorn, with her three sons and husband of 14 years.

Hall most recently worked for the Town of Geneva in Walworth County as the Clerk of Courts. She recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in public policy.
