On Saturday, Feb. 15, “Return to Romance” at Bong State Recreational Area with special someone(s).
The Valentine’s event will begin at 7 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. People are welcome to arrive anytime between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Warm someone’s heart by taking a candlelit hike, or sitting together by a roaring bonfire sipping hot cocoa.
In the beautifully decorated Visitor Center, homemade desserts and warm drinks will be served to the accompaniment of music from Wylde Thyme.
The Bong Naturalist Association sponsors this unique event and all funds raised stay at the park to help with park improvements. Attendance is limited.
Pre-register and pre-pay. Cost is $5/adult and $1/child in addition to the park entrance fee ($7/day or $25/year residents, $10/day or $35/year non-residents).
