Bake sale and vendor spots available at farmers market

Area non-profit organizations have the opportunity to sponsor a one-day bake sale during the 2014 season of the Union Grove Farmers Market.

The 2014 market will be open on Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., June 3 through Oct. 14. It is located in the Village Square on Highway 45 (Main Street at 10th Avenue) in downtown Union Grove.

Cost is $12 for a 10-foot by 10-foot stall space.

Invitations have been sent to the women’s groups at Union Grove area churches; other area non-profit organizations are welcome to apply.  Bake sale dates will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition, vendors are sought for the third full season of the Union Grove Farmers Market.

The full season rate (20 Tuesdays) is $200, but only $175 if full payment is received before May 1. Also, returning vendors are eligible for an even lower rate of $150 for the full season (also due before May 1).

The Farmers Market is a joint project of the Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Union Grove Community Development Authority (CDA).
