R&R Club patio open until midnight some evenings

After more than an hour of debate Monday night between business owners, the Village Planning Commission voted to amend the conditional use permit held by the R&R Club in downtown Union Grove.

As a result, each week the R&R outdoor patio can be open until midnight some evenings through October.

The amendment came after some residents, R&R Club representatives and those from neighboring Cedar World gave sometimes emotionally charged testimony to planners.

The amendment to the conditional use permit approved Monday night extends the use of the R&R outdoor patio on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until midnight.
