Ice, ice baby!

Burlington hosted its annual Ice Festival last weekend. The event included 14 ice carvers, including Gina Diliberti who carves block No. 2 sponsored by Veteran’s Truck Line Inc. working with 300-pound ice blocks as part of the Wisconsin State Ice Carving Championship in Wehmhoff Square. The also included a Kris Kringle Market in the Loop, bonfires, smores, performances from the Burlington High School Choir, performances from the Midwest Dancers, Santa’s Chalet, a gingerbread house contest, horse drawn carriage rides, reindeer, a night lighting of the ice sculptures, and more.
