Burlington

In this week’s Standard Press…

Jack Berry was a force of nature, according to those who knew him. He had an innate ability to lead, entertain and inspire others to make themselves and their communities better.

To Mayor Jeannie Hefty, Berry, who died Oct. 11 at the age of 94, was “Mr. Burlington.” To his four daughters, he was a shining example of fatherhood and community service.

Berry’s lasting impact on the people of the Burlington area is among the top stories in this week’s edition of the Burlington Standard Press. The newspaper will be available at local retail outlets on Thursday and subscribers will receive their copies with Thursday’s mail.
