Man charged in drive-by flashings

A Pell Lake man has been charged with multiple counts of two sex-related crimes for allegedly exposing himself to a pair of girls and a woman while driving around Burlington last August.

Adam J. Vicory, 23, was charged Tuesday in Racine County Circuit Court with two counts of exposing his genitals, a felony, and three counts of lewd and lascivious behavior, a misdemeanor.

According to the criminal complaint filed in the case, two 13-year-old girls told Burlington police they were riding their bicycles Aug. 1 on Westridge Avenue when a car that had just gone by them turned around and drove past them slowly. The girls told police they quickly turned away from the car because the driver “had his private parts out.”

A day later, a woman reported to police that a car pulled up next to her vehicle at a stoplight on Adams Street at Bridge Street. When she looked over, she saw the man inside exposing himself to her. The woman said the man eventually drove off, allegedly running a red light at Pine Street, but not before she was able to make note of the license plate on the man’s vehicle.

It turned out the vehicle was registered to Vicory. Both the woman and the two girls later picked Vicory’s picture out of a photo lineup, the complaint alleges.

Vicory appeared in court Tuesday and was released on $2,500 signature bond on the condition that he have no contact with the victims. The court appearance was adjourned until Jan. 17 to allow Vicory to obtain legal counsel.
