Man charged for slicing neighbor’s crotch with box cutter

An argument between neighbors ended in violence Tuesday and has resulted in criminal charges accusing a Burlington man of using a box cutter to slice another man’s crotch.

Gregory Gundling, 37, was charged July 17 with second-degree recklessly endangering safety in Racine County Circuit Court.

The victim, who declined medical assistance, reportedly suffered a small cut to his scrotum.

According to the criminal complaint, Gundling and the victim, who is a neighbor, got into an argument at 816 Teutonia Dr., Burlington, after Gundling allegedly complained about how the victim’s mother drove on the street in front of their homes.

As the argument escalated, the complaint alleges, Gundling took a box cutter out of his pocket and sliced the victims groin area, cutting through his shorts and underwear.

While Gundling initially denied harming the victim, after he was arrested he allegedly told a police officer the victim was “chest-bumping” him on his property and he grabbed the victim’s crotch to get him to leave his property.
