The City of Burlington officially declared a snow emergency at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
The declaration prohibits parking on all city streets while it remains in effect until noon Friday.
Violators could have their vehicles towed — or at the very least plowed-in with mounds of snow — as public works crews clear local streets of snow.
