The Racine County Economic Development Corporation will get a chance to strut its stuff May 12 at Veterans Terrace, 589 Milwaukee Ave. in Burlington.

With BRP US Inc.’s Alain Villemure coming in as the guest speaker, the annual meeting will start at 4:30 p.m. with registration with the program to follow at 5 p.m.

Villemure is the vice president and general manager of the marine propulsions systems division at BRP – the manufacturer of engines and recreational vehicles that include Evinrude, Can-am Spyder and Ski-Doo.

The company recently announced its world training center would be located in Sturtevant – another boon for RCEDC – and will be bringing all of its senior level executives to the event.

“We’ve got a really cool guest speaker,” said Tina Chitwood, Community Development Manager for RCEDC. “He’s going to kind of walk us through their innovative process.”

To register for the event, go to racinecountyedc.org or call Lynn at (262) 898-7432. Seating is limited and the cost is $35.
