  1. Funny. Kenosha can count 96 polling places in less time than Burlington can count ONE! Results not what you were hoping for???

  2. “According to . . . “Building a Better Burlington””

No surprise this lazy lefty rag gets its “news” from the resident Marxists in town.

  3. Dishonest/stupid rag too. Whitewashing the original post and planting a reply but too dumb to cover it up (10:28pm x2) and inferring a non sequitur. Simpleton push pollers unite.

    • It’s typical to update numbers reported by observers with official tallies as soon as they are available/reported by the clerks. No conspiracy here.

      • Dear “bleeder,”
We were taught in school that people who toss around hyperboles and who use “spin” for communication have an agenda. Your agenda seems to lean towards getting a different result from the election. But the results were not made up by the newspaper. The paper noticed that the results were not coming in for some reason and they knew that we, general citizens and members of Building a Better Burlington, had people who sign in as observers according to state law to take the vote count directly from election officials and the voting machines. There is no secret plan. The numbers that we got were accurate unless you do not trust the clerks of the polling place. I am sorry that the results were not what you wanted but calling the newspaper a “dishonest/stupid rag” is not only rude but a bully type tactic. Calling Building a Better Burlington your “resident Marxists in town” continues your inaccuracies and rude manner. Building a Better Burlington is made up of citizens of all political stripes. We range from very conservative to very liberal with most of us tucked neatly in the middle. We have one goal and that is to help improve our community. Many of us, not all, did help the three winning candidates with their campaign work. Our goal there was to keep outside money and political influence out of our local nonpartisan school board race. The newspaper and BBB deserve an apology.

      • LOL I don’t think anyone thinks the Mess is capable of a conspiracy. You’re just bad biased and boring.

  4. Voice of Reason

Don’t worry Ed, some people just enjoy living in a World where everything is a conspiracy, and everyone is out to get them. It’s a sad that some people live this way, but true.

  6. Even Better, no one is holding you against your will here in Burlington. I served for 26 years to make sure you have that freedom. If you think I am a “Leftie” or a “Marxist”, I would ask that you actually get your facts straight or better yet just please move to Arkansas, or Mississippi, where you would fit in with your education under your belt.
Your free to move at any time.
This Paper is about facts, it reports the “FACTS’.. you don’t like it please relocate..

    • Please Stay or Move

Although I probably share your political views comrade – we can tone down the testosterone a bit. 26 years in a civilian led military doesn’t bestow upon anyone any greater inherent wisdom or rights. Let’s represent a bit better. Plenty of mere civilians in our history have done a lot to make sure we all have freedom too.
