Local Realtors group installs new board

Brad Lois of Bear Realty, Burlington, was sworn in as president of the Board of Directors for the Lakes Area Realtors Association during a ceremony Dec. 6, at Veteran’s Terrace in Burlington.

Wisconsin Realtors Association President and CEO Michael Theo, was on hand to swear in Lois and the rest of the 2014 board in front of more than 100 of their peers, associates and family members, according to a LARA press release.

In addition to Lois, other Executive Committee members are President-Elect Rick Geaslen of Shorewest Realtors, Lake Geneva, and Secretary/Treasurer Mike Culat of Re/Max Advantage Realty, Antioch, Ill.

The directors for 2014 are: Jane Dulisse, Shorewest Realtors, Lake Geneva; Kevin McKillip, Bear Realty of Burlington, Williams Bay; Deborah McNichols, Prudential First Realty, McHenry, Ill.; Susan J. Miller, Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell, McHenry, Ill.; Debbie O’Brien, Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell, Lake Geneva; Andrew Szymanskyj, Keefe Real Estate, Lake Geneva; Bob Webster, Jr., Keefe Real Estate, Lake Geneva; Lon Wienke, New Era Realty, Twin Lakes.

The Lakes Area Realtors Association is a regional advocate for Realtors and property owners’ rights while promoting high standards of practice and professionalism.

A Realtor is a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of Realtors and subscribes to a Code of Ethics.

The local trade association is a chapter of the Wisconsin Realtors Association and National Association of Realtors and maintains an office at 5 S. Ridgway Court in Elkhorn. LARA has approximately 500 members. The phone number is (262) 723-6851.
