Fire ravages Schuette Daniels furniture store in downtown Burlington

The Schuette-Daniels Furniture Store in downtown Burlington is currently on fire.

There are have been multiple alarms called, with numerous area towns and departments sending in personnel and equipment. According to reports from people on scene, the fire has spread to adjacent buildings.

We will continue to update this story with more details and with photos.

Update, 10:58 p.m.: The city has officially requested that the fifth alarm of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System be called out for additional personnel.

Update, 11:15 p.m.: We expect a press briefing from Mayor Bob Miller in the next 15-20 minutes.
