‘Laramie Project’ advance to state

The Burlington High School one-act play, “The Laramie Project” has advanced to state competition for the 11th year in a row.

The one-act play received a unanimous bid to state competition Saturday competing at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha at the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association sectional.

BHS will travel to Waunakee for the state competition Nov. 22 – a Friday – in order to watch other groups perform. The cast and crew will have an opportunity to participate in workshops as well, and the show should go on one of the two available stages at about 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23.

The show will be presented to the public Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Burlington High School auditorium. The performance is free.

  1. There will be a bake sale before and after Tuesdays performance to help with the cost of going to State. We hope to see you there to support this incredible cast of actors.
