Chiropractor honored for lifetime achievement

Longtime local chiropractor Robert Wheelock was presented a lifetime achievement award by the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association Sept. 21.

The award was presented at the WCA Fall Convention in Wisconsin Dells.

Wheelock has been practicing in Burlington since 1974 when he joined Burlington Family Chiropractic as an associate.

He was nominated for the award by patients, staff and associates and then selected by his peers to receive the award.

The lifetime achievement award was created to recognize chiropractors who have made continuous contributions to the profession throughout their careers. The award goes to a chiropractor with at least 25 years of professional experience.

Burlington Family Chiropractic will host an open house reception in honor of Wheelock’s award on Friday, Oct. 11. Patients, friends and community members are invited to attend between 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the clinic, 196 W. Chestnut Street.
