CCHS Homecoming this week

Catholic Central High School will celebrate Spirit Week Sept. 16-21 leading up to the school’s Homecoming game on Sept. 20.

The school will have five dress days. Tuesday will be Generation Day, with freshmen to dress as babies, sophomores as toddlers, juniors as adults and seniors as retired folk.

Wednesday will be Twin Day/Superhero Day, where students can dress as either or both. Thursday will be Mass Day, with students encouraged to wear their Sunday best, and Friday will be Spirit Day – with students in blue and white.

The Hilltoppers are scheduled to play Racine Lutheran at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. There are various other sporting events taking place throughout the week, including girls volleyball matches at home on Tuesday, Sept. 17 and Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.

The annual Powder Puff game will follow the JV football game, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., Monday.

The homecoming dance will be Saturday, Sept. 21 from 7:30-10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased Sept. 16-18 in room 306 at the high school, with tickets $10 each or two for $18 through the 18th, and $12 each after that date. Students must turn in a signed dance contract before the event and will not be allowed to leave school grounds until 10 p.m.
