Theresa Miller, 84, of Elkhorn, and formerly of Waterford, passed away at home on Jan. 5, 2023.
Theresa was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 12, 1938, to Michael and Anna (nee Hruska) Rutter. She was raised in Milwaukee where graduated from Washington High School. On June 19, 1961, she married Jerold Wayne Miller at Mother of Good Council Church in Milwaukee. Theresa was a longtime resident of Waterford and a homemaker. She worked at a few different jobs including Kohls Foods, Milwaukee School Board, All State Insurance, and Sta-Rite Plastics. In early years she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and recently she loved to color.
Theresa is survived by her children, Bryan (Roxanne) Miller, Wayne (Tami) Miller, and Kim (Dennis) Danowski; grandchildren, Amanda, Shannon, Leah, Krystal, and Kasandra; eight great-grandchildren; her sister Margaret (Mike) Janesch; sister-in-law Sharon Rutter; and by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerold, and brother Paul.
Visitation will be held at Mealy Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, from 11 a.m. until noon. Private burial along side her husband Jerold, will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
