TIM PALEN

Tim Palen, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 2, 2021.

Tim was born to James Palen and Diane (nee Kalis) Kordus on May 9, 1966 in Milwaukee. He lived most of his life in Waterford where he graduated high school and pursued his love of mechanics to become a Certified Master Technician.

Tim married Theresa Bleecker on Feb. 14, 1987 and had two wonderful children, Ashley and TJ, who were his proudest achievements in life. He also had two four-legged friends, Maverick and Jasper, who were his beloved companions.

Tim had a love for the great thrills of life. He had a lifelong passion for music. His love of classic rock and the blues led him to becoming a drummer later in his life. He was a natural at the drums as he always connected with the music more than the lyrics of his favorite artists. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed tinkering with his vehicles and motorcycle as much as cruising down a country road. Growing up, he rode dirt bikes up north and always loved feeling the wind in his hair and the adrenaline of the ride. He could tell a story like no other. He found joy in sharing his tales with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His stories will live on in the memories of those who cared for him the most.

Tim is survived by his wife Theresa; children, Ashley and TJ; mother, Diane Kordus, father, James (Mary) Palen; sister, Tammy (Tom) Higgins, and brother, Michael (Carole) Kordus.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Michael Kordus and stepbrother, Steven Kordus.

A Memorial Celebration of Tim’s life will be held later. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, his family suggest memorials to “Make A Wish” Wisconsin https://wish.org/wisconsin so that others may experience the thrills and joys in life as Tim did despite his health challenges.

Tim’s family would like to thank all the health care professionals that supported Tim throughout the life.

Mealy Funeral Home is serving the family. Well-wishers may visit www.mealyfuneralhome.com.
