Magdalen “Maggie” M. Lile, 70, of Wind Lake, entered into the loving care of her Savior Jesus on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Maggie was born in Kansasville on Dec. 20, 1950 to Frederick and Marcella (nee Kovar) Magray. Her early life was spent in Kansasville, where she graduated from Burlington High School. On June 28, 1969, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington, she was united in marriage to Donald Lile. Following marriage, they resided in Burlington. Together they enjoyed camping at Yogi Bear Campgrounds in Wisconsin Dells with their children and neighborhood block parties. She and Don also bowled on a team at Towne and Country Lanes. Donald preceded her in death on April 18, 2013. In 2014 she began seeing Jim Kummer. How blessed she was to have two men in her lifetime who she loved and who loved her back.

Maggie worked as a seamstress for Burlington Bridal Boutique, was a department lead at Kmart for many years and worked in housekeeping at Pine Brook Pointe. She was a member of the Burlington Area Car Club and enjoyed traveling with her partner Jim. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and baking, loved to garden and was a very talented seamstress. She loved watching Lifetime movies and watching a good football game. She always loved to share the interests of the people around her. Those who loved her would describe her as patient, kind, compassionate, and fun. She lit up any room she walked into.

Maggie is survived by her life partner, Jim Kummer; children, Stacey (James) Hall and Steve (Sarah) Lile; grandchildren, Jason, Allyssa, Darren, Jacob, Hunter, Hayden, Jordan and Samuel; 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ann, Liz, Dennis and Fran. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, and siblings, Clara, John, George, Buck and Barb.

The family would like to thank all the family and friends who have been there for the family in their time of need.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Per Maggie’s wishes no formal service will be held. Her family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
