Kathleen “Dawn” Iverson, 69, of Waterford, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
Dawn was born in Milwaukee on April 22, 1952. She was the daughter of Clifford and Shirley Wallace. Her early life was spent in Greenfield, where she graduated from Greenfield High School. On Dec. 8, 1972 in Milwaukee, she was united in marriage to Paul Iverson. Following marriage, they lived in Milwaukee before moving to Waterford in 1985. Paul preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2010.
Dawn was a resident of Waterford for 36 years and worked for Sta-rite Industries. She was a member of and devoted advocate for Narcotics Anonymous and loved to help new members on their path to healing. She loved to do crafts, make floral arrangements and bake cookies. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and huge fan of the paranormal.
Dawn is survived by her children, Kelly (Sarah) Lind and Jason (Jenny) Iverson; grandchildren, Serena Mayer, Kyle Lind, Darren Mayer, Trey Vekeroff, David Jacobs and Andy Iverson; great-grandchildren, Aila, Emmet, Arthur and Romyn; and siblings, Clifford Wallace Jr. and Richard (Darlene) Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital for their care and compassion during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
