Cynthia L. “Cindy” Franko-Franecki, 73, of Waterford found peace and went to heaven on July 14, 2021.

Cindy was the loving and devoted wife of Jimmy “Jimbo”; proud mother of Kenny (Ashley) Heiser, and Eric (Cathy) Franecki; special grandma to Annalise “Karate Kid” and Alaina “Darth Vader”; sister of Judy (Jim) Klein, Debbie Ritter (George Grkavac) and Jim “Jaws” (Lori) “Norman” Franko; sister-in-law to Rosie (Ken) Edwards, Marilyn Franecki, Bill (Vickie) Franecki and Tom (Georgia) Franecki. Cindy worked for the Milwaukee Police Department for 18 years and was the personal secretary to the police chief. She recently retired, after 35 years with Reinhart, Boerner, Van Deuren, as a dedicated executive assistant to Attorney Don Christl.

Cindy loved camping in the West, camping in Julie and Jeff’s driveway and at Yogi Bear Parks. She also loved gardening, cruises to Alaska, cooking (especially Slovakian food), and spending time with her family, especially her precious granddaughters.

Special thank you to Pro Health Care Hospice, especially RN Pam, for their loving care and compassion.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 9 until 10:45 a.m. with Memorial Mass beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford.

Cindy loved animals. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Cindy’s memory to Lakeland Animal Shelter (www.lakelandanimalshelter.org) would be greatly appreciated.
