Cheryl Haynes-Arnold, 58, of Gloucester, Va., died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at Ascension All Saints hospital in Racine.

Cheryl was born in Richmond, Va. at the Common Wealth of Virginia, on Dec. 5, 1962. She worked for many years at her father’s service station growing up in Gloucester. She graduated from Gloucester High School. She then attended the Rappanannock Community College for nursing, but later decided to move forward with her career as a seamstress. She had over 15 years of experience in this profession and had just accepted a position at the Southern Wisconsin Center to do what she loved.

Cheryl moved to Wisconsin in 1993 and stayed ever since. She loved sewing, fishing, bowling, reading, birds, her family and most of all her four children. She never missed an opportunity to tell her family that she loved them immensely and always listened without judgment.

Cheryl is survived by her children Brandy (Travis) Tufford, Corey Strong, Hunter Arnold and Brooke Arnold; her granddaughter Hailey Tufford; her sister Deborah Haynes, her brother R.B. Haynes and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Byrd Pollard Haynes, her mother Jane Allen Haynes-Timberlake and her brother William Byrd Haynes.

The family will receive friends and family in Virginia at a later date.
