WUHS opens fitness center to the public

A row of cardio exercise machine lines the wall of the fitness center at Waterford Union High School. The facility also features multiple free weight stations for strength training. The district has decided to open the facility to district residents beginning March 1.

Waterford Union High School will open the doors of its fitness center to the public beginning March 1.

The fitness center will be open to Waterford Union High School district residents who are at least 18 years old, according to district officials.

The facility will be open Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Memberships will cost $50 per person for the duration of the school year. Memberships are only sold by school year.

All new fitness center members must have their driver’s license scanned into the district’s Raptor system when signing up for a membership, according to district officials.

People who are interested in a membership should stop into the Waterford Union High School Athletic and Activities office (inside the school’s main entrance) to review the membership guide, sign up, and receive their membership card for admission.
