A lesson in fire safety

Fourth- and fifth-grade students at Washington Caldwell School in Tichigan enjoyed a visit from the Tichigan Volunteer Fire Company last week. Students learned about ways to stay safe in case of a fire at their home. Firefighters took time to show the gear that they wear at a fire. The second half of the visit included tours of the fire engine and ambulance.
