Antique Tractorcade and tractor display included in Fall Fest fun

On Sunday, Oct. 9, the Lions Club of Waterford will host their fourth annual Tractorcade and antique tractor display in conjunction with the Lions Chicken BBQ and the Chamber of Commerce Fall Fest.

Anyone with an antique tractor is invited to participate.

Led by Jerry Weinkauf, the Tractorcade will depart from Whitford Park in Waterford at 9:30 a.m. and complete an approximate 15-mile loop around the Village of Waterford on township roads.

Tractors will then parade through the Village of Waterford, where Chamber Fall Fest events are taking place.

At Whitford Park, the tractors will be on display for everyone attending the Lions Chicken BBQ, as well as Chamber activities planned there for children.

BBQ dinner participants will receive a ballot to select their favorite tractor and a Peoples Choice Award will be given to the tractor owner receiving the most votes.  This year’s award is a gift card from the Tractor Supply Store.

Individual tractor owners who participate in the Tractorcade and display their tractors will receive one complimentary Chicken BBQ ticket.  The BBQ meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tractors from all manufacturers are welcome. Anyone with questions should call Lion Gary at 262-534-3202.

Among the other Fall Fest activities planned for Sunday are complimentary trolley rides downtown, vendor and craft booths at Ten Club Park on First Street, a Chili Cook Off with judging at 12:15 p.m., and the popular Chamber Auction held in the community building at Whitford Park, with silent auction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and live auction starting at 2 p.m.
