In this week’s Standard Press…

School Board elections across the country have become battlegrounds with issues such as masks and race-focused curriculum driving the rancor.

The dynamics were similar in the Burlington Area School District leading up to Tuesday’s election. And when the voters had their say it became clear they support the status quo.

The election, in which the two School Board incumbents were returned to their seats, is the lead story in their week’s edition of the Burlington Standard Press.

The newspaper will be available at local retail outlets on Thursday and subscribers will receive their copies with Thursday’s mail.
