      With lifeguards non-existent or having limited hours at beaches in the area, a county official advises families concerned about safety to seek out an aquatic center.

The advice comes after two people drowned in Lake Michigan in Racine. The director of the Burlington Community Aquatic Center explains why her facility is able to attract and retain a full roster of lifeguards.
